Great for a student taking an AP Euro class

I took AP European History in my sophomore year of high school. My teachers said we could buy this book and bring it in for extra credit. Friends that had already taken the class told me it would be one of my best resources to do well on the AP Exam. I studied this book and old tests before tests in the class and the AP Exam, and they worked wonders. The summaries of chapters and the practice tests in this book are invaluable for anyone who want to score a 4 or a 5 on the AP Exam. I had the 2008 edition, but this edition is just as helpful. I got a 5 because of this book, buy it if you want to do well in AP European History.

The best for this subject, easily.

It's too bad there aren't more reviews to back my opinion, because this book easily beats out the Kaplan and Cliffs Notes versions, both of which I became familiar with while studying. The summaries and simple language were key in helping me remember and learn things that weren't in my textbook.
The practice tests are also better than any other competitor, and the opening section on how to take the test itself is crucial. There's a lot more to the test than the "eliminate and guess" technique, and the strategies are outlined well.
I owe my 5 to this book, and would recommend the series (always written by the same person so far) to anyone over the outdated Cliffs version and the often-confusing Kaplan editions.

Does not reflect the 2016 exam!

The description of this book is very misleading. It says it is redesigned to reflect the new 2016 exam format. As a certified AP teacher, I am familiar with the new exam format and this book does NOT follow the new format. All of the multiple-choice questions reflect the old format and are useless for those preparing for the 2016 exam. Very disappointing.
