About the Author

Something for EVERY taste

Butch-femme, BDSM, vanilla, spanking, and one wild fox hunt- this anthology has a story for every taste! Out of the 20 stories presented in this collection there wasn't one I didn't like- every story was unique, engaging, and had a different flair to it. I enjoyed reading some authors whose stories I've read before and also enjoyed discovering some new authors.
Some of the stories especially stood out to me and one of them is the very first story in the collection: Polvo de Hadas which includes some interesting uses for spices and a good ol' fashioned love story. In Foxy and the Ridiculous Lesbian Orgy the author details a party she threw where guests wore animal designations in an attempt to "hunt" the fox. I couldn't believe this story was true and was a little disappointed it ended so quick. Ring of Roses tugged at my heartstrings as the protagonist feels as if she'll never truly "have" her lady since old mementos of the past are scattered around her lover's home. This story was easy to relate to and ended with a very sensual love scene. In Odds I was transported to Tel Aviv and read a slightly comical story about a woman whose disaster soon turns into passion. Finally, the writing in Guise and Dolls was spectacular and witty- one of my favorites in this collection! I also appreciated the variety of butch-femme stories in this collection since I am always on the lookout for butch-femme romance in novels.
There is definitely something exhilarating with reading true sex stories and learning intimate details of someone else's life. Therefore I highly recommend this collection as the stories were entertaining and you may pick up a tip or two along the way. This collection was extremely well-written and will probably be taken off my bookshelf quite a bit to revisit some of my favorite stories.

Good reads about some liberated ladies

Get ready for a wild ride that leaves you totally satisfied. If you are like me and spent the last decade reading fem slash fanfiction for free buying an actual book might seem a little out there. I would say give buying a try for this collection for you or a friend. It is a great collection of short stories for every reader's palate. These are tales about women in all walks of life either at home, at war, in relationship, or on the prowl. They are all interesting and deeper than just getting down for the sake of getting down. It gets at least 4 stars for never making me suspect it was actually written by a straight man (more of a problem on tv, but a struggle nonetheless). These are definitely stories written by women, for women who like women. They are refreshing fun, sometimes heartbreaking; often dealing with issues of acceptance and insecurities everyone can relate to. Its nice to find mainstream erotica that handles sex with some genuine tenderness and humor. Plus I got a lot of relationship advice for both in and out of the bedroom (or most household surfaces). I am not totally sold on the whole chili powder thing, but, in general, its solid, applicable stuff. The cheesiness of the title and cover had me hesitant at first, but this book was a whole lot of fun to read and I enjoyed it.

Great read, a SEXY mix of well-written true stories

This book is a welcome change since the stories recounted are true. And they're sexy! They are also well-written and interesting. The wide variety collected will provide something for everyone (there are 20 stories).
Sacchi Green did a great job assembling this anthology.
